Does LHSAA or any website have record of how many championships each school has won? Would be awesome to look at and if there isn’t, for someone to create in this format:
Division IV Newman (8 Titles): 2020, 2017, 2010, etc…

Interesting facts:
The following 5 schools have the most championship game appearances, and the only schools to be in double digits:
Jesuit - 23 Vandebilt Catholic - 17 Newman - 16 St. Paul's - 16 St. Louis Catholic - 14
1991 was the last year that didn't feature any of those schools in one of the state championship games.
St. Louis Catholic has an astounding 13-1 record in championship games, with their only loss coming in 2002 against St. Martin's Episcopal.

St Louis has (or had, prior to hurricanes) a board that showed all of their finals and championships at their place. Opponents said it was pretty intimidating

wow, my quick math shows 105 Private school championships to just 12 Public. And no public in last 18 years? Id love to hear the different reason people give for this crazy disparity. My first question would be, do private schools have to abide 100% by the same regulations a public school does? If not, what is different? If yes, why such disparity?

Obviously they don’t have to abide by the same regulations. Privates can take anyone and publics that are not magnet or charters can only take students from their assigned district.

Missed that one. Thanks. So 16 years ago. Add in Caddo Magnet in 2008 and there’s a five year stretch between 2004-2008 where public schools won 3/5 DI championships.
