Good idea, WiN oN tHrEe. Actually, I like the other thread (DIII Champs) better since it's all University (5 out of total 13 votes). ;D ok, ok, I will revive the original poll. Forget the other one....

One of the district 3 teams will win state, with St. Louis looking like the favorite again this year. All the talk this year has been about district 6 and University. The only reason St. Louis didnt walk through the district this year is because two other teams stepped up their play incredibly. Both OC and Teurlings can win the title too so dont count them out. University and Newman beware of your second round opponents. Your season might be over early if you dont take that game seriously.

University and Newman beware of your second round opponents. Your season might be over early if you dont take that game seriously. While I can't speak for the entire team, University will take Teurlings seriously, no doubt. They still remember losing to Opelousas Catholic on their turf going in as a favorite last year at the second round. Once they get past the second round, I could visualize their black and white uniform at the final. Their semi will be at home with a large crowd. UHS is quite good against kickball (i.e. Newman), too. Yes, the second round is the key.

Well flat3 IF ya'll get by Teurlings in the quarters and that is a big IF ya'll might not get to play at home in the semi's if O.C makes it to the semi's ya'll have to go to their place AGAIN and everyone knows what happened last year , but i really havent seen ya'll or O.C. play this year so i cant determine anything

As far as I know, University will play at home either against Newman or OC, assuming Newman beat Ouachita Christian. Here is the reason. Brackets: Newman (H) Ouachita C. (A) Country Day (H) Opelousas C. (A) If OC and Newman win, the second round will be at OC. If OC beat Newman, OC would have played away and home. University would have played home and away. According to LHSAA, if two teams played the same number of home and away games, the team who played away at the LAST game (in this case, University) will get a home field advantage. Please correct me I am wrong. Thanks.

first of all, I need to say that thatsnotmuch needs to calm it down on this thread. Saying that stuff about U-High is stupid. They are a totally different team then they were last year. Do you remember what happend after we beat them last year. Our heads got huge and we lost to a St. Martin's that was played much better than us and beat us 2-0. Do not start on here b/c I would not want to see what happend last year to yall (us b/c I was on that team) last year again this year. U-high has done something right to be ranked #1 and #2 respectivly in two polls and I know for a fact that this years OC team is better skilled than last years. If it does happen to were OC and U-High meet again, it will be a much better game than last year. But both teams must get past their first round oppenant. You should not even be thinking this far in advance. Take each game one by one until you finally get were you have been playing for all season loing. As a good friend of mine once said, the season has just started. So play like it has. There is no need to come on here and "bash" U-High when you have no idea if you will even play them. Save it for the field and leave it all on the field!

Thanks, WiN oN tHrEe. What thatsnotmuch wrote here didn't bother me. That's not much, anyway. All I wanted to know was the location of UHS-OC game IF THAT HAPPENS. I need to know for arranging things. Thatsnotmuch obviously didn't answer this question. WiN oN tHrEe is absolutely right, however. We have to get there first. In fact, we have to win two each before that game. As I wrote, University need to play its A game against Teurlings in the second round. Of course, it has to win the first round before!

wo wo wo... why ya'll blowing up on me i'm not bragging on anyone or dissing anyone i was just saying at first i saw that people said U high will have a tough semifinal, U high is a good team but i dont think they are good enough to look over Teurlings, and whoever makes it out of that side of the bracket, U high OC Teurlings or Newman, they would have had beaten of the best teams in the state and i think the winner will take the title

Scratch off OC, they are going home. And for all district 3 fans, take notice, St. Martin's and Newman both beat that team 3-0 in the first half and then let off.

University vs. T.C. is a key game for assessing the level of DIII-3 this year. T.C. still has to beat Menard to get there, though. O.C. was a #3 vote getter and they went home. Wow
