I miss the good old days.
I think the biggest change is that there's a lot more streaming than a few years ago. Especially after the pandemic, a lot of schools started streaming, so mom/dad/grandparents/etc. could watch the games live. If you go back a few years, you either needed to come here, or you needed someone at the game texting you. So you spend time here, you see some threads, maybe you get inspired to sign up for an account to post scores or discuss what's happening.
I also miss the top 10 polls with the updated results every week. I ran the poll myself briefly when it wasn't getting updated by the soccer coaches' association; now I think they're good about doing them, but they only post them on Facebook. (I guess I could go find them and post them and keep a weekly thread updated, but I'm lazy.)

I am amazed how you can keep up this the action the way you do! |
