What does every think of how this district is going Predicted Standings in Feb 1. Central Lafourche 2. South Terrebonne 3. Terrebonne 4. Thibodaux 5. HLB 6. South Lafourche 7. Ellender It will be a close battle for first between Central and South Terrebonne. Central is playing well and have won 8 of their last 9, while South Terrebonne remaind undefeated(i think). However, Central has played a harder schedule (St. Amant, Rummel, Pearl River, Greensville St. Joe, Fontainebleau) while South Terrebonne has played the lighter schedule (Morgan City, De La Salle.) I think Central hard schedule is what pushed them through and become district champs this year. These teams play Friday, which will be a good match up The race for 3rd is close as well between HLB, Terrebonne, and who would of thought, Thibodaux. Thibodaux is finally playing soccer, and is hanging with programs. After being shut out 11-0 by CL last year, they held them to 4-2 in tonights game. They have also lost to South Terrebonne 2-1. Their program is defantly on the rise. I think Terrebonne is a contender in this as well. They are the the district champs from last season, and return some good players, but lost their entire defense. HLB lost to Thibodaux earlier, and South Terrebonne today. They need a win against Terrebonne in order not to fall to far behind. The bottom runners are South Lafourche and Ellender. South Lafourche is playing decent ball as well (not kickball). Ellender program is on the rise as well. These teams have both improved from last year, however, so has their neighbors in the district. The programs in this district are finally becoming competetive with one another. We are finally see-ing teams compete with the past dominant team Central Lafourche. Usually there is always one, but this year their are no sleepers. If you don't play, you may get beat unlike in years past. I must say that the programs in this district are finally heading in the right directions, and I hope it continues in that way.

What caused the quick turn around for Thibodaux and why has South Terrebonne only played 2 predistrict games. Doesnt it seem if they knew they came in with a shot for a district title that they would have scheduled more games to get more practice.

ST didnt schedule as many predistrict games because they are mainly made off football players... and i dont think it is a secret that they did have a pretty good season this year...

HL lost to South Lafourche... That ST an CL game needs to be played so we can get only one undefeated team.

Ellender - 0-6 That is correct, and only one thing I predicted wrong SL over HLB... HLB has the talent, but lately have been falling out due to injury, losing one player a game. I think they rebound and beat SL in the next match up...

are you sure the standings for thibodaux are 3-3? I thought that they only lost to CL, and to ST so far. I don't think that they have played terrebonne yet.
