This is a thread for all of the official playoff information for Division I. If you have any speculation as to the brackets, feel free to post them here. I will reserve the next post for the official brackets when they come out. This way we will be able to update them as the playoffs progress. The official brackets will be released by the LHSAA on Wednesday sometime before noon.

Also, if you can confirm that any team is locked into a certain position, I will add them to the official bracket. For example, Fontainebleau has clinched the #1 seed from District 5 and St. Paul's has clinched the #2.

Ok, I'm pretty sure that Catholic has clinched the #1 spot in District 4. Same thing with Carencro in District 3, Jesuit in District 9 and Caddo Magnet in District 1. If someone can confirm these I will edit them into the offical bracket.

Caddo Magnet has clinched the district. Shreve, Byrd and Airline will be the other teams in the playoffs but the order will not be determined until Tuesday night when Shreve and Byrd play. Byrd plays Airline today and Airline and Shreve play Monday.

With the contraversy in District 7 no one has been declared District Champs yet. What controversy? we have been hearing rumblings about an ineligible player. Given your statement, and seeing that CL currently has clinched the District, are you saying that a CL player has eligibility problems? CL is a pretty reputable program, so I would be really surprised if that was the case. Please clarify your statement

Coach Ray
Questions regarding the D1D4 seeding. I thought Northshore beat Ponchatoula last night, which makes them the No. 4 team from District 5. Why do you have the D4 fourth team playing the D3 second team, while the D4 third team plays the D3 first team?

Coachray, any basis behind the St. Paul's vs. Br. Martin prediction? I think the LHSAA would be stupid to screw both of these teams over again by making them play in the first round.

Why do you have the D4 fourth team playing the D3 second team, while the D4 third team plays the D3 first team? Good Point, LHSAA has done this before. You would think the 1's and 4's would play and the 2's and 3's would play. I just hope they are consistant across the bracket with how they set the the matchups.
