good game and fun to watch. i was very impreesed with the speed that cro played. they didn't waste any opportunities and played great one touch soccer when it counted. lafayette had some chances but seemed to be trying for that one extra touch before shooting or sending a threw ball. sorry one team had to lose. good luck cro, beat the blur jays.

Goals scored by Trevor Thomas and Chase Talley. Steven Rosser turned in his 15th(i think) clean slate. LHS dominated possession but really didnt create many scoring oppurtunities. Their best chance to score came on a break away with an LHS attacker 1 on 1 with Cro goalie Rosser. The LHS player booted the ball missing the goal by about 10 yards.
The Bear's 4 super seniors (steven rosser, Trevor Thomas, Correy Hebert, and Jake Hebert) really dominated every time they touched the ball. The Lions had no answer for them.
On the LHS side Logan M.(spelling?) really had a great game. He's first team all-district for sure.
The Bears are set to play Jesuit at home next week.

i dont know if this bugged anyone else that was at the game but carencros cheerleaders i think were just uncalled for. Granted they showed spirit and what not but some of their cheers were just rude and uncalled for "na na na good bye and yeh we're cro 2-0 you know" i mean come on now have a lil class..Other than that it was a hard fought game, i believe LHS had many, many more chances than cro but carencro just capitalized on their 2 chances and thats all it takes sometimes. I believe if LHS had more aggressive forwards then they could have won this game by at least 2 or 3 goals,It seems like they would always quit on the 50/50 balls in their offensive third, now Rosser is a good goalie but he wasn't really tested this game . Every shot was pretty much right at him . With that being said I think it'll be a good game between cro and jesuit but i see jesuit pulling this out

Also as we were trying to cheer for the Lions, some Cro fans (or maybe it was just one guy) actually heckled our cheering. Otherwise, the Carencro soccer team is a class act who was the best team on the field last night. Congratulations and good luck.
