great teams know how to win big games man please... great team my a** .. teurlings killed st. louis the whole time in shots and possesion... and if that ball had not deflected off the defender than it would been saved.. ooo and st. louis has "great" sportsmanship!! haha i dont know what u notice as good sportsmanship lovthagame65 but we didnt get a single booking the entire night except when we got hacked and duhon cussed, yall had probably like 8 and wouldve had a red had the ref not given the yellow card to #7 instead of #18 by accident and some of yall wouldnt shake hands at the end. u can say tch dominated and wouldve scored if not for bad luck but stl had some of the same chances where the keeper just happened to be in the right place at the right time and nine out of tne times wouldve gone in. also i wouldnt call saying stl has bad sportsmanship and complaning about how yall lost too good of sportsmanship either

saint louis was not the better team. Teurlings controled the game. St. louis got a lucky shot defelected of a teurlings player and went over the keeper.

18 wasn't the one that hit the player at the end of the game... for the second yellow...

im sick of yall saying its lucky, either team could have scored a few... just because the one that went in hit a deflection doesnt mean saint louis didnt deserve it, they dominated the overtimes.

I have no connection to either team and never seen either play. Saint Loius has the trophy and the ring. No ones opinion matters anymore because they won and its over. No excuses.

Interesting that the great St Louis coach teaches "character", yet apologized to the Teurlings coach after the game for his conduct during the game.
Something doesn't jive just right.

I'm not saying St. Louis is better than Teurlings, but I do know that both teams played for 80 minutes plus an additional 20 min overtime. Both teams had plenty of chances to score. Why say Teurlings dominated and played so much better than St. Louis when St. Louis scored and Teurlings didn't? Also, to cajunman1 - the coach apologized for yelling regarding the way he's players were being treated on the field since the ref did nothing about all the dirty plays taking place on the field; And yes, I was there to witness it all.

OMG Why isn't Teurlings ranked #1 in the national polls??!
My favorite quote from a Teurlings fan earlier in the season:
Bahahahaha, apparently so!
Congrats St. Louis. It's time to finally 3-pete.

agreed, this wasnt one of st louis' best teams by any stretch of the imagination and they bring a lot back i think they are looking at the 3-peet, teurlings good year overall with some pretty good wins it just didnt work out but good luck in D2

if Stl. does 3-pete it will be no surprise because there will be no competition for them now that teurlings is moving to D2

I'm sorry, I meant 3-peat. oops.
Teurlings is losing most of their players anyway. St. Louis is returning a bunch. It'll be a cakewalk.

Is Teurlings still complaining???
Teurlings had 3 chances to beat St. Louis this year and could only do it once. Teurlings easily had the most talent in Division III this year, but you were outplayed and outcoached in two of the 3 games. From what I saw, what St. Louis lacked in skill and experience; they made up for in teamwork and desire.
