United finished third. They tied teams from Boston and a team from St. Louis and beat teams from Chicago and Pensacola. The Boston team ended up winning the tournament.
The Burn won all of their games. They played a team from New York in the finals and beat them 5-0.
The Fury looked good. They lost to the Jackson team that they beat in the finals of the Birmingham tournament a couple of weeks ago 2-0. The first goal was a pk (pretty good call) and the second was on a counter when the Fury had everyone pulled up into the offensive third for a corner trying to get the equalizer late in the game. Their keeper was up ad midfield for the play...to show you how many people they had pulled up.
Anyway, that was a really good tournament and a beautiful facility. All the fields looked like golf fairways and they were all big. Also, I think there were about 14 fields and all of them had scoreboards...except they weren't on...I think they are still working on them. There was a big stadium, also. It had an 80x120 field and was really nice.
There were a few teams from Ireland there. They were just OK. The team from Boston that United tied beat one of them 2-0 in the finals and pretty much controlled the play.
Anyway, that's my report from Memphis. I thought all of the Lafayette teams represented themselves well. I think the Slidell team got into a brawl with one of the St. Louis teams. At least I say it was Slidell because they were wearing white with green and black.

Slidell wears white and black, I heard the results of two of the games, the lost to a team from Northern Mississippi and a team from Ireland with the scores 4-0 and 5-1 respectively, they are still without three or four key players so they haven't been playing to well recently.

Footy, is that the U-18's? I saw Slidell play in their dark uniforms and they were black with white on the side, but they had green trim around the numbers. The team that I saw fight wore white uni's, but had the same look as the black uni's that I saw Slidell play in a day earlier. Oh, actually I just remembered that I asked a coach, who was scouting, who the teams were and he told me that it was Slidell against one of the St.L. teams. Anyway, not that it even matters.
They played Jackson on Saturday morning, that must be the N. Miss team. None of the teams from Ireland looked great. They were really physical, though.

I hope you weren't on the field! Don't you play for the Fury? Defense? Because Jackson scored on the Fury WHILE that fight was going on, causing me to miss the goal actually being scored.

was the goal counted or did one of the refs call a penalty from where the fight broke out?

The goal and the fight were in two different games. The fields were right next to each other. So, yes, the goal was allowed and yes, the ref called a penalty from where the fight broke out.
The fight was between Slidell and Guilliani U-18's.
Fury(U-16) was playing Jackson on the next field.
I was right between the two fields, watching the Fury, but my attention was diverted to the other field during the fight. During the fight, Jackson scored a goal on a counter attack on the Fury. Am I clear to you?

Oh, i thought you meant green shorts, yeah that's them. White shorts, black white and green shirts. Who won the fight and do you know why it happened.

Oh, then you aren't who I thought you were. Maybe I have another idea, now.
To Footy-
I don't know that anyone won. I would say that sportsmanship was the clear loser, though.
I didn't see what provoked it. I was watching the Fury and turned around when I heard the ruckus.

Burn is U-17. Yeah, they didn't lose a game and won the final 5-0.
They said that their toughest game was their second game against a team from Michigan.
