Back in the days of Mike Jefferies (now with the Dallas Burn), Lafreniere had great club soccer. Most of their teams competed at the national level, and on year I think they were National Runnersup.
The shift in power in NO club soccer happened when Jefferies left and Farell took over. The power shifted to NOSA and has been there ever since.

It definately didn't shift over to NOSA's U16s. They are among the worst in the state.

haha, i've got to give some credit to Jordan Johnson from SFC 84. He's a strong defender that made the team a favorite in the Snickers Cup last year. Though this is his last year, he has made a huge impact on the Shreveport Futbol Club.

maybe they havent had the best of luck druing the year, however winning two tourneys at the end of the season they are sure to have more success next season. From what i have heard of ther holland trip, they went 2-2-2 and beat volendam and tide the youth ajax team.

The NOSA U-16s didnt advance in superclub by 3 tenhths of a point, however the directors of the tournamnet decided to invite them to the superclub national tournament in orlando this sumeer in spite of their lack of luck during the tourney.

NOSA go invited to superclub and so did some of the worse teams around because alot of the good teams dropped out of the nationals in July due to other committments. In other words, they need teams badly and will take anyone. Look at the standing of the teams that are currently going to this tournament. Lakeview U-16's not Lafreniere or Lafayette, or Houma---all of who are better within our state. what a joke!1
