Carrolten/Lakeviews keeper is badass, jumps like a beast, prolly best in state for u-17. Id say Lafrenire's then BRSC's.

there are alot of very good and talented keepers in the state. I'm not saying he is the best in state but kyle simmon of DeRidder is in the top 50 for best keepers. kyle is a hard working keeper and every year he gets better.

How do you rate the keepers? Lafrenire's keeper as one of the top 2 or 3. How or why do you think that?

I say lafrienires keeper from last year was good based on...They won state, and when we played them he stopped a lot of breakaways, prolly bad parts on our fw, but i give it to a keep if he can stop a breakaway. Also just in general you can't be a good team without a good keeper. thats why i say the best team in our states keeper is one of the top 3.
and By the way, please don't post about highschool keepers on the select board page.

Billy Perkins is very good, quick off his feet, great reaction time, and fearless.

MSC u-17's two keepers are both great. They each play a half each game and are fearless. They are Drew Carrigee and Billy Perkins.

There can also be some 86's in u-17. We have a few that were born in 86 and I play in u-17.

Right. The age cut-offs for soccer in LA are not by birth year. The cut-off date is July 31. For example, players are '87's if they were born between August 1, 1986 and July 31, 1987. They are this year's U-16's.
So those U-17 players were ones that have birthdates before August 1, 1986.

Andy Holtz on the U-15 csc fury is defentaly the best keeper in the U-15 age group. He is one of the best in the region and thew best in the state.

Jeremy Weimer of SFC is very talented...we played them this weekend (BRSC) and he showed alot of class by staying positive the whole game and keeping his team from taking themselves out of the game...the two goals scored by our team were not at all his fault.

Our goalie, David Winchell, should also be recognized. He has came clutch in every game so far this year by making huge saves to keep wins.

Who is the keeper for the BURN? I hear that they don't get scored on much. Any predictions for BURN vs Lafreniere?
