Heat will be without a lot of players due to the lack of time in between high school and club. NOSA will probably win both games. The last game SFC vs HEAT will probably be close either way.

SFC is playing with a fairly new team..they picked up some new players and are trying new things...they will prob. play sloppy for a little while before they get used to each other...SFC is also without barcelona so if that is a factor i dont know...he sure doesnt hurt them...their forwards will have to step up and score some goals ...oh well...i think nosa will take both of these games

Why would the Heat be without players because of time between high school and club?
Wouldn't NOSA have same problem? They have players in high school too.

yes, we know high school soccer is over. My question is to the guest reply #2, why would the week between high school final games and beginning of club cause the Heat to be"without a lot of players"?

To Domain: yes, we know high school soccer is over. My question is to the guest reply #2, why would the week between high school final games and beginning of club cause the Heat to be"without a lot of players"? it's b/c of the style of play b/t the cities. in Laf. it a power game so most of the players are beat up. in N.O. the pass and actually play soccer, so they come off High School playing just as well if not better than they were at the start of high school (players for Laf. lose skill.) *minus that kid in the center mid for Laf. the skinny one he was good*

The person who made the statement about the heat being without alot of players must not have gone to the State Finals. No one was "beat up". The game was the type you want people to see, especially the ones who are against soccer. It would make a fan of anyone. So the players from both the N.O. area and the Lafayette area should not have had a problem with going on to club play.
I wonder who you play for. If it is N.O. it must be NOSA which I hear is more like the Mexican league. Diving seems to be a new part of their game, not to mention the vocalizing when they fall. That is a step down in skill if you ask me. You won't see a Jesuit player doing that.

NOSA beat the heat because they have a solid 11 on the field at all times. The heat lost some of the weaker players, because they quit. Hopefully they will pick up some kids that could help them. I think they have 15 players right now. They also don't have a solidified defense. They have Trahan, Hoffpauir, Delcambre, and Ieyoub/Glass in defense. Trahan has never played much defense and was a forward for Lafayette High, Delcambre usually plays midfield or forward, and played wing midfield for Lafayette High, Ieyoub hasn't played since the fall, and Glass usually is a wing midfield. Hoffpauir is the only true defender they have besides Roberts in goal. I think if they had 4 true defenders, then they would be able to hang with NOSA, otherwise it's going to be quite difficult.

Why oh why would anybody accuse Tony Judice of diving. Hey, if the ref don't call it, it ain't diving. Usually he dives after elbowing someone and the ref thought he saw something. He looks Mexican, but he is not. He just plays like one. Ask the U.S. National team.

You know what they say: If it looks like one and smells like one, it must be one. A dive is a dive. It's a sorry day when you see a team as good as NOSA have to resort to that type of play. It takes away from your skill. I just figure Alex has been teaching them some of the skills(?) he learned playing for PAC. Does his father still wear the purple shorts?
Also, I wonder why Kenneth keeps moving from one team to the other? He must be used to moving alot as he seems to enjoy doing it in soccer too. How many different premier teams has he been on the roster?

Do you really think the heat will be able to pick up anymore defenders? I understand there are a lot of players who cannot stand their coach. They would rather not play the game anymore rather than play for him.
