Here is my opinion on the Rankings,
Although Lafy and Nosa tied
1. Nosa 2. Cajun Fury 3. Lafrienere 4. Shreveport 5. Crusade 6. Carrolton 7. Baton Rouge 8. Lakeview 9. Mandy
The only reason I have it like this is becuase Fury beat Lafrienere in the premier league and Lafrienere has yet to beat Nosa for a while. State should be intresting. Hope everyone has a great spring!

I'd put Shreveport a little higher. Earlier this season, they beat Cajun 3-1.

Shreveport beat Crusade 3-1. They haven't played any of the top three yet. Fury, NOSA, Shreveport, and Baton Rouge are all entered in the Arlington Showcase on April 9-10. Here are my rankings.
1. NOSA 2. Lafreniere 3. Fury 4. Shreveport 5. Baton Rouge 6. Crusade 7. Carrollton 8. Mandeville 9. Lakeview

I wonder how far Fury will drop without Carter and a fulltime coach?

Hard to say, they are still loaded with great players and I am sure they will be fine. Still, I does hurt the team by having one of their better players quit. Even worse when they go to another local team.

yeah, I don't think you can fault Kevin for playing up an age group, though. Also, being that the coach is his high school coach. Not to mention that the team has won state four years in a row. It's quite an honor that they wanted him. I just hope that he gets enough playing time so that it will be a fun experience for him. I agree that they have a lot of talent, but I wonder if they have enough to beat lafreniere or NOSA.

Fury seems to be doing well without KEvin because we just won the Vulcan cup in Alabama and we looked pretty good but there is room for improvement

He cannot be on two LSA rosters at one time. If they don't sign the release he cannot play. LSA could impose sanctions if they knowingly play an unrostered player who is not an approved guest player.

I am glad you are doing well without Kevin. I know you guys have other talented players and didn't mean to imply that he was your whole team.
As for CSC not releasing him...I think that is crap. Would they have released him to play up on the Crew? If they are not releasing him because he wants to play for LFC then that sucks. Don't put a 16 year old kid in the middle of your politics. That might not be the case, but if it is, then that is my opinion on it.

CSC is supposed to look out for the good of the players, If a player can improve himself by playing up a level, and not competing directly with his former team, then he should be released. There is definitely some politics involved here and not concern for a player being able to be challenged and improve himself. Perhaps some sour grapes on the immediate coach's side.

You can't post the word G-R-A-P-E-S on this forum. It is vulgar!
what's up with that??
I agree completely. If a player is asked to move up and makes the decision that it is in his best interest as a player, then why/how can CSC prevent him from doing that?

The Burn could take it directly to LSA. There is precedent for LSA overriding a club and approving the transfer. Especially since he is transfering to a team in another age group.

The only problem there is that he might be burning a bridge that he needs to cross later. What does the player do when the team that he is playing up with graduates? Move to a different team outside the area or try and get back on with his original team. Now that I think about it, it could be the team unwilling to release the player that is burning the bridge, since chances are he would only be on loan for a year. Also, he figures to come back a much better player than when he left.
