I don't know much about Airline's soccer team, but I can't understand why you would match the three possible best teams in the tournment in the same bracket. Bracket B is strong but not like A. I believe that Bracket C pairings play into West Monroes hand. We have a strong team and are getting better with every game. This bracket could give us the elusive tourny wins that we need to push us over the top to be a good tournment team. What is the scoop on the rest of the Shreve/Bossier area schools.

It is a shame that they have the three best teams in one bracket. It will be tough for all teams but it will be a good experience for them.

Whatz all the talk that the best teams are on Bracket A? Who are they? the only strong team there I must admit are the Gators. Bracket B no doubt it will be Loyola or Byrd. C Bracket - WM .

Well, the brackets do seem in somewhat disproportion. Any of the bracket A games will be good ones. Shreve has the potential to win the tournament, they are the best team coming into the this weekend. They were the best team in Pineville last weekend, just fell one game short after a brillant performance from Lafayette. Unfortunately, with the way the brackets are set, the wild card will most likley come from Bracket C, which is by far the weakest of the three. Should be a good tourney though, especially with the Monroe schools adding their talent to the mix.

NoWomannoCRY, how can you say that when we (Parkway) have already played all three teams and beaten them? By the way, I predict us and Neville in the final.

That's odd. Caddo Magnet 1: West Monroe 0. Caddo Magnet 0: Captain Shreve 1. This tournament was so inconsistent, all West Monroe could do is hack and slide tackle. Sad soccer.

West Monroe is garbage. They play kick ball.
Semifinal was a fluke. We would kill yall in a 90 minute game.

Captain Shreve was the winner of the Bossier Tournament with five wins and five shutouts.
Bracket play:
Shreve 3 - Southwood 0 Shreve 6 - Airline 0 Shreve 2 - Neville 0 (Subs played second half)
Semi
Shreve 1 - Caddo Magnet 0 (best game of tourney)
Final
Shreve 5 - West Monroe 0

The bottom line Parkway11 is that we beat you and ended up in the finals. If we are such a bad team how did that happen. We beat you with a goalie that has only been playing since he was in the 8th grade, 10 th now.
You guys just can't except the fact that you GOT BEAT.

hey wmsoccer, look dude..take a quick glance at your bracket...northwood..hahaha...haughton...haha...dude...you let northwood score on you...HAHAHA!..pathetic.. you had one challenging game in bracket-magnet...i wish parkway wouldve beat yall cause they deserved it..they have so much more heart...i was at the game.. #18 burned yall the whole game...#11 controlled the defense with one minor error...it was fluke just admit it...all your team can do is kick the ball as hard as you can and chase after it. parkway actually had hard games to advance...play them in a regular game when they are healthy...i bet you wont put any money on wm winning that game....

Greenmachine, I did not draw up the brackets. I will agree that we had a easy one. We took advantage of it and played our way into the semis and won in a shootout. Again it Parkway is so good how did they get beat bya team that supposely plays kick ball.
By the way we will play any team form Shreve/Bossier. How about a home and home schedule. Or is the hour and half drive to much.

Hey Parkway#11, you complain that we beat you guys with kickball. If that is the case why don't you guys come try to play us again at home. We'll see who is the better team. If kickball wins the game, play it. At least we did'nt concede the final game like you coach was going to because you guys were tired.

First of all, wm15, the only reason our coach was considering not letting us play the final is that we have our first district game Tuesday, and it happens to be the toughest team we play. Im pretty sure that everybody on our team would be happy to play you at home any time. Wmsoccer: played your way into the brackets? You were frickin' wildcard, and only because the other two teams in your bracket were HAUGHTON and NORTHWOOD!! If there had been another real team in your bracket besides Magnet, there is no way you would have even been the wildcard. And what do you mean "supposedly" plays kickball? What do you call what you play?

#19, I don't doubt that you guys are a good team and that you deserve to win a tourney every once in a while, but why can't you guys accept the fact that this past weekend we came out to play and we wanted it more than you guys obviously. We are ready to play with the best and we will.

Personally, i had a great time at the tournament. sure we had an easy bracket, but im not going to complain. As for Parkway, we concentrated more on getting the ball out than anything else. thats not our usual style, but we were playing hurt and knew parkway was a fast team with a good offense. i myself moved from center mid to a defensive position to counter their speed. the only thing that wasnt great about the game was their attitude. as for the "kick ball", we knew what their team was like, so we stuck to just clearing it out and making their mids run. know your enemy. if you guys will play us, im down. yall are a great team and i enjoyed our match. good luck to yall in district.

i dont get what all the hubub is about... a team won.... they played better socccer, and beat another team. IT HAPPENS
my God, stop acting like a bunch of peeter puffers and accept the fact that you got beat.. i guarantee, youll lose many more times before the year is over.
try concentrating on winning your next match instead of dwelling on a difficult loss... losers (heh)

Parkway and WM seem to whine and complain a lot...you don't see any of the other teams out here complaining..parkway11, i have never seen anyone make up more excuses that you..face it, your team lost..it isn't the end of the world..just give it up And according to the reports, it seems that every team plays "kickball" When the ball is around the goal, you don't sit there and screw around with the ball; you clear it..i have seen many teams get scored on because they didn't clear the ball
