Who will win Division II next year?

First things first.  I think McKinley will do well in state next year.  They lost only one full time starter and a few subs, but they have enough talented peolpe to pick up the slack.  Second soccerbl12, where do you get off talking about our team?  It's not like your team did any better.  I mean come on you lost to Pineville.  And I think I remeber a few other people besides bags scoring on you.  Bags got one goal againsy your team, and we scored on you 4 times.  And third, Jacob, shut up.  All those foreign exchange students that you are talking about are the ones that made you look stupid everytime they got near you.

Well this Olsen guy is absolutly correct. Even thought the ESL program is changing the bulk of the good players that are on Lees squad are foreign players. There only graduating two good seniors John Stirling and Frank something. They have one other guy that made all district but he sucked. So all in all they will still have a good team next year. But as for Bags hes gotten MVP honors two years in a row that werent really deserved. And Mckinley's style of play sucks. Even thought i saw them play Vandy and get raped all they did was play long ball to Bags and if he really deserved those awards he would have finished during the game. But McKinley will only have a strong team until they get to the playoffs but district 5 is not that solid.

i mean what districts in Division II  are  solid.  a few have two good  teams at the most.  I feel sorry for vandy b/c they could  win  d1 if they were in it.  But you can't quite say you 're the best in the state if you win d2.  in fact,  i'd be more proud to be d3 state champs than d2.  i am not ratting on vandy.  just d2 schools that think they are awesome by making  top ten.  And it really looks stupid when people from westgate and mckinley and other worthless teams talk trash.
i think that they are in a different league than other teams.  I saw the final 8 teams play minus south terrebone and a few worthless ones.  of those i'd say that vandy and stm were the best as far as  who played good team soccer.  of course, who knows,  maybe in a few years d2 schools will be teams to beat instead of teams to rack up wins on.

Ps-(This is to "i mean....") i think the state will be surprised by what mckinley does next season, and if you have never played a team do not call them worthless bc you do not know if your team could beat them.

sorry guys..but this yr again belongs to VCH. i mean look at the past:
vch lost 4 seniors, one who didnt start at the end of last yr bc of an injury, whose backup proved to be just as much of a playmaker as he was. w/ 10 seniors this yr, 9 or 10 of whom start, and the other 2 will be juniors, vch probably has the most solid experienced line up over the whole state, Div I 2 and 3. w/ 4 all state players and the all state mvp..vandebilt will prevail and make all of the other teams in Div II look like chilfren of the poor..
vch's real season will come in friendly's and tournements against Div I teams like bm and jesuit..

Someone hit it on the ball with Vandy, they should be playing D1. D3 is garbage and Vandy would tear them all up.
D2 has Vandy who is clearly one of the best teams in the state, followed closely by Ben Franklin, ASH, and Southern Terrebonne, and other southern LA teams.

Only 2 Northen LA teams worth mentioning, Neville and Parkway. Look for the winner of that district to make a run for state since the 2nd round will look have all the best teams on the bottom of the bracket. !!i think!!(ASSUMING VANDY, BEN FRANKLIN, STM all win their districts). Can we see a repeat of 2 years ago with Parkway making the finals?

After two games, Parkway is 2-0 with the first win over Loyola prep since anyone can remember. We have allowed less than ten shots on goals in the last 180 minutes. Freshman talent exceeds the senior talent lost.
Only sporting around 5-6 club level players will hurt against teams that can feild 11 quality players, but expect senior standouts by lil Barcolona and lil Helms.

haha, plain and simple. lee hs is going to suck even though they have a good goalie. mckinley is going to suck because they have bags and no real method of play or knowledge of the game. my predictions........vandy will be a stellar squad for years to come.

I seriously doubt that Vandy would have "torn up" D3 last year. St. Louis also beat Jesuit mind you, and nobody beat St. Martin's last year. To say you would have torn it up is a gross overstatement, you would have been better off saying that you would have competed with St. Martin's and St. Louis for the state crown.

um soccerstar who do you play for??? Mck is definitly not gonna suck. We have a team without bags, he isnt even playing with us for the first part of the season.And we beat U-high 3-1 without 3 starters and bags. We also have 7 other select kids on our team.So we will see how bad we suck this year. Id like to see someone talk trash after we play them. and about lee, they might not suck, they picked up some new kids.
