There's a 4 on 4 Soccer tournament in Lake Charles February 28th and 29th. The two finalists in the tournament supposively get to go to a national tournament at a later date. I don't know if it's too late for anybody to sign up or what. But yeah, I'll be there.

We lost in the semi's in overtime to the thirdcoast soccer team #2. But, we still get to go to the national tournament in Galveston in July. By the way, Sulphur was given two goals against us by none other than Turk.

the top 2 teams are supposed to be going to nationals not yall Read the rules at quickfoot again. I said wrong in my first post. If there are at least 6 teams in your pool, then 4 bids are awarded a spot in the national tournament. Therefore, all teams that were in the semifinals get to go. quickfoot.com/tournaments/rules/2004%204%20v%204%20Rules.pdf

There will be a regional tourney in Lake Charles again this February. Look for more info when closer to the tourney or go to the quickfoot website.

I think is a great tournament for the younger kids, but you have to commend the people who started this quickfoot program for an exceptional idea.
Put the word out. Get many more teams to compete than regular tournaments by making it a small sided game. Collect entry fees from each team. Sell all kinds of soccer stuff at each stop. Finally, make it easy to qualify for the national tournament by inviting tons of teams and again collecting another entry fee and selling more merchandise. What a great idea.
Great job to quickfoot and great job for the Lake Area team.

The Warriors from Lake Charles dominated the tourney the entire way through. I would say these players have major promise. They should be able to contribute greatly for their high schools in the future. I haven't seen any team work together as they did. They were a TEAM for sure. If they contuinue on this path they should have bright futures with national merit. CONGRATS WARRIORS ;D ;D ;D
