Great game, glad I could see it in person. I've always wanted to see either one of these storied teams play.
Giggs started the scoring with a 20 yd free kick that curved just past the keeper's diving arms. Juventus controlled much of the first half with Edgar Davids manhandling the middle.
New Jersey's own Tim Howard made some great saves for Man U.
Paul Scholes scored on a rocket in the second half. Then Juventus scored to make it 2-1, and it looked like it would get close.
But then Ruud van Nistelrooy had the goal of the night when he took a cross from about 20 yds, chested it, and turned so quick and shot it over the keeper into the goal. It was a great goal.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scored the last goal, can't remember what it was like.
Juventus took out most of its good players about 60 minutes into it. Once Davids came out, Juventus lost a lot. They put Del Pierro in and he almost scored once. Juventus had several really good opportunities when the score was 2-1 and 3-1.
Man U blew a goal at the end when I forgot who dribbled past the keeper and shanked it. It was horrible.
79,000 on hand, but it wasn't very loud. Guess b/c Americans aren't big soccer fans and don't know how to get excited for a game.
Horrible traffic.
Pretty poor weather -- about 70 with showers off and on.

It was Diego Forlan who missed the open net.
