im thinking new england for sure, maybe dallas if they get their act together...dallas and LA galaxy are tied for second in my opinion
i do hope chivas comes out of no where and wins it, but the odds of that are somewhere in the range of 500 to 1 or some riduculous number

Chivas ?? hmmm....... If DC United had not lost in stoppage time twice in the last four days, they'd be in or tied for first place. I think they recover and take the crown.

galaxy certainly did pick a time to pick up their performance like the fire back in 2002? i believe, but new england will do just enough to win, close score 2-1 or 3-2

MLS: Barcelona Express American Interest =============================
During an Internet chat with fans on Friday, MLS Commissioner Don Garber announced that Barcelona president Joan Laporta would be in attendance at Sunday's MLS Cup final between the New England Revolution and Los Angeles Galaxy. Garber responded to a fan's question about reports from Spanish publications that the Spanish giants had been linked with Major League Soccer's New York-based franchise, MetroStars.
"Joan Laporta, the president of F.C. Barcelona, along with six members of the FCB board are attending Sunday’s game and will be in Frisco all weekend. FCB has a real interest in MLS. How that interest materializes into a relationship is still a long ways from being finalized," said Garber.

Well as i've said something on this thread, i'd better give my opinion on this game.... However, having not seen any of these teams play, Im finding it quite difficult!!
I think this game could be decided by Landon Donovan. I think if he has a great game, he could be the difference to hand the title to Los Angeles. However, if he is not having an influence on the game, I think New England will prevail because they seem to have a more balanced team.
Parkhurst will do well at the back, Dempsey should have his say in midfield, Ralston should provide width as usual, and Twellman will keep the LA defence busy.
For the Galaxy, I only see Landon Donovan being a major threat.
Prediction - New England 2-1 Los Angeles
I have no idea when this game is, so someone fill me in!

From what i've read it was a poor game. If Parkhurst, Dempsey, Ralston and Twellman cant raise their game for a domestic final game, then I hope none of them make it into the USA's world cup squad. To be honest, Landon Donovan didnt exactly set the game on fire, although it was his corner kick that led to the goal. If these players do not up their game, i'd hate to see what would happen if they came up against Ronaldinho, Adriano, Kaka, Robinho and me.
