In the replay at Upton park. Final score 3-0, was closer than the scoreline Fulham had three late goals, McBride, Hayles and Boa Morte I think had the goals.

Once again, the United States Men's National Team players are making a name for themselves. Clint Mathis is posting goals every weekend for his german club team, and this is McBride's second one in the net. He's been a huge force up top for Fulham and finds himself starting.

Don't forget that Bocanegra has been solid all season for Fulham and assisted today on McBrides game winning goal.

Donovan and Beasley need to get out of the MLS. The MLS has done an amazing job with the two players, but it's time for both of them to take their game to a new dimension. Both are great (vision, speed, and touch), but if you hold yourself back by playing Preki every weekend, you'll never be able to take progress your style of play. If Donovan entered the german league, it would allow him to play against some of the best players in Europe. This move would not only help his career, but help the United States as it looks towards World Cup 2006.

the bundesliga is really a sub par European league. I think that Donovan and Beasly should move to a major country but i think their size and weight is a factor. But even the Sub par german bundesliga should be better than the US. By sub-par i'm meaning not england, italy or spain but still there is some good soccer and players in germany, so it would do them better than the US. Donovan should fit into the Bundesliga just fine, I don't think that his size is that much of a factor but im really not sure about beasly, he gets beat up in the MLS, I wonder what would happen to him if he went to Europe.

He'll get fouled, but he'll learn how to play a different style. In MLS, he's used to dribbling past people and getting knicked and falling/rolling on the ground. In MLS, everything is called and he knows that. If anyone wathced the US vs. Holland game, Beasley got knocked around about three times (maybe some deserved to be called), but they weren't and he had to play on. Beasley spoke of interest in playing in Spain. He'd have to change the way he plays on the field, but only slightly. He's one of the best players on the US line-up. In the Holland/US game, he was one of two (Convey the other) players to have legit chance to score. Ironically, he got passed two defenders on a nice flick from Woolf and was knocked around after he got his shot off (nothing was called). Both players are capable of big things, I just wonder when they will get the chance.
