i agree with that decision. I loved Howard from the start, especially being a goalie myself. But he hasn't proved himself too much lately, so maybe he needs a break.

Then they should bench most of the defenders too, because ever since they lost Ferdinand, they suck. The Porto goal wasn't Howard's fault, he made a great save on a rip, hit the post and then dove and almost had the rebound shot and no defender even moved to try and block the follow-up. Man-U defense is to blame, not Howard......a weaker keeper gets in goal and all of a sudden the defense realizes they don't have a keeper that will save their butts, so they decide to play well against Hotspurs.

Howard came into the epl and started . he had a great start but when ferdinand was banned for 8 monthes silvestry was put into the center defender spot and i think it was too much for him to handle. howard was forced to keep up the entire defense and it was imposible for him. but the first game Carrol started ferdinand had his first game back and heinze got his first start. then man u starts winning. hmmmmm i wonder why!!! i think howard was also having troubles djusting to his ne life style in england away from home but i bet if they give him another chance he will win his spot back!

I think it's awful how Howard actually got the start versus Fenerbache in the Champions League game yesterday and Man. U. lost 3-0. Didn't get to see the game, but that just doesn't sound like good news for the American.

I THINK YOU R RIGHT BUT I DOUBT THAT IT WAS MAN U's FULL LINE UP. IT LOOKED LIKE A VERY YOUNG SIDE.
