It is MLS's tenth season and I don't remember seeing so much excitement as this coming season. The talent level has not dropped even with the loss of some fine players to Europe. I think some of the new foreign talent we have from Guatemala and Costa Rica will surprise us. New stadiums are in the works and soon to be finished with others soon to be started. The Adidas contract with the league is a sign of healthy investments to come. If DC beats Pumas and makes it to the world club championships we might finally have some clout internationally.
So the question is, is MLS finally over the hump and on the upswing? This year may be a banner year for our little league, I'm crossing my fingers.
