Arsenal is no more, the new top 3 is United, Chelsea, and Liverpool. Tottenham looks like they are proving to be next in line. Which is good, I've always liked Tottenham.

Recently, he has been struggling some with an injury, unless he takes time off, he's going to make it worse, and do Tottenham no good.

mido is with egypt at the African Nations Cup, and I don't think Davids' injury is bad enough to sit out, or he would be. The doctors had a look at him and said he can play, and he did well against Aston Villa. So, I think he and Tottenham will be alright.

chelsea has the most money and most talented players, they might win two in a row, maybe three, but that's it. They can't keep all those great players there, especially not after this World Cup when their players don't get the time they feel they should, because they haven't been playing for Chelsea. (ex. Huth, Wright-Phillips, Bridge unless he left I can't remember, and theres probably more, but I don't know their backups that well since they play so sparingly.)
Plus, I haven't met a Chelsea fan that was a fan before the Abrmovich takeover, so basically you're a glory seeker. And that's the worst fan there is. You have no passion except for that of winning. You'll switch your favorite team so many times you won't remember your own name. So basically, hideki, leave this to the real fans.

bignasty, i thought this thread was about the best team in the world right now, and considering that this year chelsea is on top of the epl which is universally known as one of if not the most classy leagues in the world, i believe they deserve a place in any discussions about the best teams in the world, in fact, i actually support celtic and im not positive but i dont think theyre payroll is as big as manu's, so who would that make the 'glory seeker'?

say what you will, but I've been a Manchester fan since 1996, I was 8. I didn't know what a payroll was when I became a fan, I didn't know how many trophies they had won or who the manager was. All i knew was that they had the same name as my older brothers team, United, and they were the only club that I knew about with that name. I started getting into them, and I've never once put another team above them. But I will apologize about calling you a Chelsea fan. Which basically means since you're not a Chelsea fan, you're not a glory seeker in my eyes. I guess I just have a building hatred for them because of all the glory seekers in Lafayette that are jumping on the Chelsea bandwagon, and when you put that comment about Chelsea I snapped.
Celtic are a great club, if Roy Keane likes them, I can too. cheers
But the thing about Chelsea is they havent proven to be the best team in the world, all they've proven is they are the most consistent. Manchester United beat Chelsea, so you can't really say they are better. They need a Champions League trophy for me to buy into the fact that they are a better team than anyone in Europe. Of course, that may not even work for me since I didn't feel that way about Liverpool when they won. But I'm very stubborn, and I'll always believe Manchester is the best.

So basically, hideki, leave this to the real fans. im going with what this guy said. chelsea would be like aston villa right now or charlton athletic if roman had not of come with all his money and i doubt mate that you would be supporting chelsea. like he said glory supporter. i hate them. chelsea could be the best in the world but they need to prove it, they have in england but in europe they havent so really they cant be the best in the world. liverpool won it so they are. biggest trophy of all to win is the european CHAMPIONS league. and if you win that you have to be one of the best in the world because liverpool beat juventus and CHELSEA to get there and was down 3-0 and won in the final against a bloody brilliant ac milan team. need i say more. no i dont cause im correct.
