england even though dont play the best footy in the world i think they still have the best side all toghether with players. ok paul robinson in goal, not the best but is world class, on defence us lads ave wayne bridge as right back, rio ferdinand and john terry in the middle and jamie carragher on the right. star studded defence there. beckham gerrard lampard and joe cole in midfield u just cant beet and rooney an owen upfront. u cannot beet that team guys.

yes you can... USA is a little overrated, and England def has the talent to be in the top 5 in the world, but they need to show it. 2-1 vs Uruguay on a last minute winner from Cole is not too impressive for the star studded England side.

I saw bridge hurt his ankle against uruguay, don't know his condition for the world cup.

Englands qualifying group was not tougher than the USAs. UEFA qualifying has lots of minnows in it. CONCACAF is very demanding especially in opposing stadiums when compared to some of the teams in UEFA qualifying. It is not like England are playing the giants of UEFA in their qualifying run.
