Let's see. Mandeville defeated HC 3-0 , Central Lafouche 3-0 and 4-0, and Central Lafouche defeated Vandebilt 3-0. Does anyone really care to hear about HC and Vandebilt, two mediocre teams? Don't know if Kyle Shuford will be able to play. Moved up to forward down by 3 goals, he took a dive and hurt himself, when he tried to get into the next play, his ankle was taken out. He was carred off the field and couldn't return. Analysis of his Play is BigFoot. He can kick it a mile. NO touch whatsoever. He pushes off real well in the penalty area. HC players like to mouth off to the officials and to our team. Guess they learn it from their dads.

Who really cares about this game? Mediocre teams. V.C. parents must have spent alot of money and favors owed to get a national ranking. Any chance some politicians son goes to V.C.? Just wondering. Being shut out by a team that is outscored in two games 7-0 should say it all, mediocre. Good Luck Central.

We'll see what happens as the season goes along. Again vandy had five players just join the team four days before the season opener against central lafourche. Two of which didn't see any action in the game (2 starters from last years team). Vandy started out last year 10-3-1 and ended up 33-3-1. Don't count them out yet.

I guess those football boys were not in any shape to play the sissy game of soccer. Silly me. Weren't they all kickers! so they should have been in game shape. Save your excuses. No whining on these boards. Mandeville had only 5 practices before playing in the tournament, and took 26 players, 17 varsity and 9 JV players to beat Central Lafouche 3-0 and 4-0 (and missed 2 PKs! or it would have been worse.)

No excuses dude, just the facts. No the football players that are on the soccer team weren't all kickers. Only Jon Menard kicked, and yes it does take a few practices to get into soccer shape after playing 12 weeks of football. Congrats to Mandy for winning the pineywoods tourney.

hey skippy? you know anything about soccer? does not sound like it. vandy will be tough and is the odds on favorite to win state. shuford is probably one of the better soccer defensemen in the state. why else are at least 5 colleges looking at him for their programs? sounds to me like you know nothing except how to beat your own drum!

Dear know it all: ok, yr right of course, Vandy got thrashed by CL, then CL gets run over 4-0 and 5-0 by Mandy (if the PK takers hadn't gone up the middle with their shots). CL had one shot on goal in 2 games, and Will leftfooted it wide right when the keeper was out. Vandy is obviously the best, I hope you win some games this year. No more national rankings, however. Maybe the football players will recover from playing 5 seconds and covering 3 yards, then 45 seconds to recover. It will wear you out. Whew! Shuford is good if you want BigFoot on your team in the back. He usually plays stopper, but WARNING VIRUS dropped him back to sweeper against Mandy. When HC down 4-0 (another Mandy missed Pk on a horrible ref call), he moved up to striker, but never touched the ball. I like watching him on corner kicks. Arms fully extended and knocking down players. Ever see an under 8 game and think that an 11 year old big kid is playing for the other team? the Big Kid is shuford, and his BigFoot. He need to work on his passing. He completed 0 passes to his outside midfielders during the game. That is the mark of an all-state player. Are the 5 colleges all in Louisiana?

ok so since VC lost a single game they are mediocre? just wait my friends and see what happens..when 5 starters havent touched a ball in 15 weeks start playing soccer a day before a game its not gonna be as easyas it was where they left off..when Vc gets their feet back they'll be better than last year..talk ur crap now but when Vc prevaisl to beat every quality team in the state like they did last year it'll be great.

shuford played sweeper all last year. i guess that shows you know liittle about him and has played there, save for 20 minutes, this year.. secondly, only one college is in louisiana, the others are in the northesat. so, go watch your u8's play and the rest of us wiill enjoy watching soccer objectively.
