Anybody have any explanations? They obviously have some defensive issues but they have some great young players also. I think that it all went wrong when Arsnl sold Vieira. They've never been the same.

they dont have the team that they use to have as simple as that. they still have killer players but theres some young blood starting there now and they just cant play together very often. not the same arsenal. i think when the older players like henry and pires leave arsenal might not be a powerhouse anymore.

As an ARSNL fan it's frustrating to watch our season fall apart piece by piece.

Arsenal are rebuilding. Personally, I look at them as an arch-enemy. I don't want them to slide down to nothingness. Because the battles they have with Manchester United are phenomenal. I think in a couple years they will be back in the race for the title. The loss of Viera was a major blow. I'll change my mind about how they will fair if they lose Henry in the summer though.

It would be a big mistake to sell Henry. Who would be their goalscorer? They wouldn't have one.

They obviously don't want to sell him; I'm saying if he wants to leave, it is inevitable.

Viera leaving wouldn't have had as bad an effect if Arsene Wenger had replaced him. Instead of buying an tough, experienced, strong, player, he bought promising youngsters who show a lot of talent but don't have what it takes to control the field like Viera does. If Henry leaves they are in trouble because at the moment, if Henry has a good game, Arsenal seem to have a good game, and same goes for a bad game. He seems to be the only shining star this season for Arsenal and Wenger either needs to get his new signings going, or bring in a solid midfielder to fill in Viera's shoes.

exactly but viera was not playing top form footy when he left arsenal but is now at juventus. wenger is buying too many youngster for short cash that might be appropriate but he should buy 1 solid defender but theres not too many of them now that are mid age.

ARSNL 4 Fulham 0 Henry 2, Adebayor, and Fabregas were the scorers. Finally we play a quality away game (if you would really call it away). Next Up: Real Madrid at Highbury.
