Forgot to add that Mandeville also shut out the only decent team in the tournament in the semi-finals 3-0 with a made P.K. called back.

Mandeville won its second consecutive title with a 4-0 whitewashing of Central Lafouche in the championship game. Halftime score was 0-0 with Will Wilson missing an open net. Central Lafouche pressing kept the ball on Mandeville side. Won 6 consecutive goal kicks but failed to convert. Skippers scored 2 quick goals in the first 8 minutes, then 2 more in the final 20 minutes (40 minute halves). Mandeville also missed a PK and an open net in the second half. Earlier Mandeville had shutout Holy Cross 3-0. Mandeville scored on 2 superb "crosses" placed perfectly into the net via headers. Again, a PK by Mandeville was missed when the referee ruled a players foot was on the 18 and not behind the 18 when the kick was taken. Overall, Mandeville outscored its opponets 20-1, with the goal coming with the JV on the field and the left fullback sticking his hand out to stop a shot. The PK was converted by Pontchatoula as Mandeville won 5-1. Mandeville is now 6-0. Vandebilt Catholic Soccer, you are talking smak. Wanna play?
