LHS will win district and state. I hated them when i played but i would bet an aweful lot of money on laffayette winning state. If not them then Jesuit. Acadiana willcontend very well and has the experience to win state I just think they lost too many star seniors. I don't look for Carencro to do as good this year, But they should still have some talent left. Sulphur didn't lose any good players or have any this year but they seem to manage to hold their own pretty well every year. Comeaux, Nish, and Barbe in any order. However from what i hear comeaux may not be so terrible this year. Barbe lost a star and aren't that good anymore anyway but they have good coaching. Nish is very low on talent but maybe as luck will have they will win a game or two in district over barbe. I wouldn't expect them to beat LHS or sulphur this year and i am sure that CHS learned their lesson on ineligable players so it looks like NISH is assed out this year. I would love however for anyone of these teams to prove me wtong.

I agree, Laf. is stacked and should go deep this yr. Never count Acadiana out though, and Carencro gained valuable experience last yr. Sulphur ain't got much, Barbe will be weak again this year and Comeaux has a couple of decent players but will not contend. NISH ? Who knows? Who is the "Star" that Barb lost that you are referring to and why is he not playing this year? Here's my predictions: 1. Lafayette 2. Acadiana 3. Carencro 3. Sulphur 4. Comeaux 5. NISH 6. Barbe Wat ya' think?

Barbe lost their sweeper, Josh Hessler. His dad was transferred to Corpus Christi.

Well I think you are wrong C.H.S from baton rouge has the best chance at wininng state because of the premire player power that they have.
Baton Rouge High also has a chance.
