I guess the LHSAA realized that there are 2 districts that continuously make it to the semis and finals. If you have seen the bracketts for state, you know they have made it more difficult for district 3 and district 9 to play in the finals. The breakdown is 9-1 will meet 3-1 in the quarters, 9-2 and 3-2 meet in the first round (the winner of this game would possibly meet 9-3 in the second round), and 3-3 will meet 4-1 in the first round. This gives teams from other districts who continually make it to the second round and quarters but fall every year to make it to the semis without ever seeing a team from district 3 or 9. What are your thoughts? Was this done diliberately or is it just coincidence?

Furthermore, in the Division three bracket, the St Martin's-St. Thomas Aquinas districts meet in the first round...as well as the Newman-St. Louis Districts, and even worse, the winners of those games meet in the quarterfinals. This is also another improper way to set up the brackets. They should seed the teams in EVERY sport.

My account was created on 9/1/2001. I'm sure there are older ones but I want to say maybe there was a system change at that time that set that date for all previous existing accounts. I may be making that up but I remember something happening like that back in the day.

Only other one that came close was the account "GK1" that was made in November of 2001. Scrolling through the old threads is hilarious. So much trash talk back then!
