I choose Laffayette over Acadiana for this game. If they dont beat Acadiana, someone else will. I dont think they will go undefeated for the district and i think Laffayette has the most talent to beat them. Good luck to both teams, though.

acadiana only because since the begining of a season they have looked like more of a "team" Lafayette is good and has much more skill but they just don't seem to be playing that great together. But I guess all that matters is that they play well enough to make the playoffs and peak when the time is right!

too early for me...I haven't seen either team since the Showcase. I'll probably have more of an idea about Lafayette after tonight's Comeaux game.

I think it is interesting that comeaux7 changed his mind after playing yesterday. He is, however, correct. LHS has settled into a zone, is playing well and together. The movement of Belfour to midfield was a good idea which has in large part allowed them to be in better control in the middle third. The defensive third did not demonstrate a propensity for mental errors and breakdowns against CHS and has improved steadily since the WHS game. Their counters in the forward third, testimony to their fairly, but not complete and not intended to take away from the play of soccerstud22, put a lot of pressure on the CHS defenders. Lafayette will win fairly convincingly against AHS, and has convinced me that it is possible to throw a District champioship to avoid meeting Jesuit in the quarters. I hope everybody realizes that is a ridiculously hilarious joke... Actually, and I'm probably going way out on a limb here, I think LHS repeats...Any takers? Although LeBlanc, Wilkes, et. al. are excellent players, who by the way were in attendance of the LHS/CHS game along with the Acadiana Coach, they just don't have the pitchwide talent that LHS has now seemingly reached a point of being able to manage and bring together. I'm just wondering if AHS will drop another game to turn the tables and meet Jesuit in the finals...Ouch! That should get a response out of somebody!!

Given the now widely understood strategies of both coaches, one would have to question the bench coaching abilities of both Belfour and Brumfield. Belfour can't even lose to a very good Comeaux team, lets his team lose its focus on tanking district, and wins going away. Brumfield can't figure out a way (or maybe just can't convince his kids) to lose to anyone all year. Both of these guys obviously have a lot of falling behind to do, and I hope everyone will join together in supporting their dreams to become losers.
