not important to win? they were still in the running for a district title,(and don't try and say they didnt care about that). it looks like they had a let down after their win over the rams. thats why i want someone from the game to give a rport.

If anyone watched the Lafayette/Carencro game last year, then you do not even need to read my summary.
First Half: Carencro scored in the first five minutes off of a quick cross with #24 putting it in. Lafayette scored towards the end of the half and it is tied 1-1.
Second Half: The ball goes back and forth, neither team being able to put the ball in. Some unbelievable saves by Carencro's goalie kept them in the game. In the last minute of regular time, #24 slipped behind the defense again and put one in the net. Lafayette tries to put one in, but fails. Carencro wins 2-1.
Lafayette came out flat. Once Carencro put one in, Lafayette went into panic mode and had to score right away. It took us out of our game.
As for Lafayette slipping, you don't beat the District champs 6-0 and be " slipping ". My two cents. Look for a different team against Westgate.

I am not saying that Lafayette is slipping... I am just saying I prefer to think of it not as daja vo, but as it they are not doing as well last year, so someone else can beat them and be state champs....
but don't get me wrong, i don't think lafayette can't do it or don't deserve it, just hoping it switches around for a little while... Once teams get eliminated from playoffs who knows i might be supporting them to win it all

From my view point it just seemed like cro wanted the game more. They won most 50/50 balls and kept up the tempo all game. LHS just didnt seem to play as hard or as well as they normally do.

Ghandi is being a bit modest. His incredible save with about 15-20 minutes left kept LHS in the game. Great keeper play, Ghandi.
For at least the last 20 minutes of the second half, Cro was playing 4 back with 3 mids playing 3 across in front of them. Playing defensively, looking for the counter with B24B. Nothing succeeds like success. Broussard got loose a couple of time and they stopped him, but with 8 minutes left, he got behind the defense and took it home. Great game, 24! You really brought your A game tonight. Congrats, Cro. Good luck in the playoffs, Lions.
