at this time i would like to write a seven paragraph post on how everyone answering this thread just doesn't get it. however i will leave that up to someone who deals with rain.
everyone is RIGHT, all the players named are great players and are worthy of all district honors, but in the real world not everyone will make it. i agree with one thing rainbow says,(boy that hurts), the coaches do banned together to spread out the honors. if they didn't all most all the picks would come from 4 teams. guys i do this for fun. my soccer playing son is now in the marines and i have no vested interest in the game. i do love the game and still know many of the kids playing. hopefully this board will continue to be a place where soccer fans can come and have a little fun talking and kidding each other about soccer.

I don't know the names of any of the players on Westgate, NISH, Sulphur, and Barbe. Hopefully fans and players of those teams will add names in.

well in that case id like to give him some props. he def earned my respect. Seemed like a nice guy too. Showed a lot of class on the field, even when i ran the two of us into the ground pretty violently (sorry about that by the way). Good luck to u in the future.

I watched the WG/Sulphur game last night. That kid Logan (#3) from Sulphur is a player. He completely dominated WG's defense. I think if his coach would have played him at forward the whole season he could have earned the respect he deserves, he needs to get a look for all-district (@ very least 2nd team). WG's Skye (#15) is also a very good player, he has earned the respect of his opponemts.

Barbe---I think Cody Gardner is one of the best goalies in this state. He might not have a great defense infront of him but he is an awesome goalie. I have watched him play with my brother since i was little and i have alot of respect for him as a player. I also think senior Adam Oler is a good player from barbe. He has good ball skills and he is fast on his touches. Freshman Mark Derouche (defense) also shows great talent. Even though he isn't the biggest guy, he makes up for it on the field. He might not be the spotlight in the crowd but he is amazing to watch.
