this will be a great game. i think it is up north. both teams play the same style of soccer and both have very good individual players. shrevedad i going with ya'll this time. i think your defence and keeper will pull this one out for you. shreve in a close on 1-0.

i have not been fortunate enough to have seen capt. shreve play. i have seen sps play a few times this year. they are a very tactiful team which plays within itself. they are very dangerous on offense and its complimented with good defense and an above average keeper...i would have to place my bet on St. Paul's...they've won some big games this year which i feel helps tremendously in the playoffs...
good luck to all!

I will also go with St. Paul's 2-1. St. Pauls has won when it needed as witnessed by its tourney championships. They were my preplayoff "darkhorse" pick for the upper bracket so I will stay with them. My only concern with my prediction is the effect of the 5 hour trip?

I really hope Shreve pulls this out... someone posted on another thread that it'll snow in July and Shreve and Magnet will meet up in the finals but that really could happen... Shreve wins in PKs, or 1-0

keep the pressure on stp and teh opportunities will create themselves. finish, finish, finish and cpt shreve can and will pull this one out. stp is good, but like any team in the state, with the right amount of pressure, they are very capable of being defeated.

I say St. Paul's wins 2-0. (Of course, my opinion would always go to my home school.) The defense is great and Tyler Milton is an incredible goalie.

They don't call them CAPTAIN shreve for nothing. 2-0 I think a Saint would be more important than a captain. That is besides the point, I think that St. Pauls takes it 3-1.

I say St. Paul's wins 2-0. (Of course, my opinion would always go to my home school.) The defense is great and Tyler Milton is an incredible goalie. Substitute Jeremy Wimer in there for Milton and you have the reason why I think Shreve will win. Shreve has now played 27 matches and in only 1 (Jesuit) has the defense and Wimer allowed more than 1 goal. 2 of their 3 losses were in shootouts (Lafayette and Magnet). Should be a great match between 2 very good teams. Shreve 2 St. Pauls 1 in OT Go Gators!!!!!
