Just for fun. Who has the absolute worst field? Where you(and the parents)hate to go.

Natchitoches has TERRIBLE fields. Also, in Shreveport, Caddo Stadiums football field is terrible to play on.

East Ascensions field is pretty bad. There is sand on the sides of the field. It makes it really tough.

mckinleys field isnt even in the top 50 worst fields in LA it aint the best but hell a lot of fields are worst. its just a very hard surface. Go look at half the fields in BR and then say Mck field is bad.

Apparently the person that thinks McKinley has a terrible field hasn't had the opportunity to play on the Christian Life Field in Baton Rouge. There can be no rain for weeks and the field will still be muddy.

I agree with the person who said the Caddo Soccer fields at Capt. Shreve. Also, at Ouachita High in Monroe, the bench area is paved starting like less than a foot one side of the field, and the other side doesn't seem to drain at all, so mabye that field too.

What about Baton Rouge High where the ground's hard as a rock, the sidelines wave in and out by at least two feet, and the grass even left.

Tinsley....they have no drainage, they smell like sewage, they never dry up, have holes every where, one of the fields has glass on it, and if the balls go over the fence u either have to jump the fence or go around to the font enterance or find the one ditch that runs behind on the the fields and crawl on ur belly under it to go get the dang ball... and that fence i almost broke my wrist tryin to climb back over it .

Oh, come on, Tinsley isnt that bad, except for the drainage. And what could they do about the light falling on the field. I still say Caddo Soccer is worse.

Parkview Baptist ------ rocky, short and narrow (almost like Lakeview but smaller) Newman - it's a hill... cross the ball and it flys off the other side (on the bright side, it's never flooded)

Newman's field is small, camel-backed and unless you play for Newman you dont have time to adjust to it before the game's over.

what could have been done about them? well they could have been inspected by a representive of our fine mayors office and replaced. they are probally older than your soccor parents. just think about what could have happened if your team had been in the middle of that field. i have said a prayer that it doesn't happen again while a game is going on. i hope all parents that have kids playing at this supposedly fine soccor complex voice their opinion to the mayor's office. i fully intend to.

Go to Opelousas, any field at Sandoz park.... last time I was there (over a year ago), looked like drunks lined the fields. Ever heard of string? Some idiot actually went around an ant pile when they lined it. And they needed to weed eat out the grass from inside the goals...... or buy a goat. And the field in the front on the left, has about a 6 to 8 ft vertical drop from one corner to the other. At least on some of those dirt fields ya'll are speaking of the lines are straight and the field is kinda flat. Absolutely the worst! But then again, I ain't been to Monroe..... lol
