First, congrats to BRHS for winning. Second, the articile in the advocate failed to give the BRHS keeper credit for a excellent game incluidng 2 diving saves in the 2nd half. Finally, BRHS has only played Acadiana 3 times in the past 5 years with AHS winning two

sorry, they only played 3 times in the last 6 years. AHS won in 2000 and 2004, BRHS won this year.

Hey rivers2, I haven't forgot about you. Your predictions were much more accurate than mine - I'll give you that. But time has passed and there's only 4 teams left, interestingly enough there's one team from D3 and I believe one from D4. Any predictions on the semis and finals.

I predict that our two districts will be underdogs in their games based soley on the final rankings in state Division I. I know nothing of Mandy or MC to make a prediction. I'll say this...... if we both survive these games..... I'll make a call. Both Lafayette and BRHS WILL BENEFIT from playing at home..... will it be enough..... time will tell. I watched Lafayette stymie St. Joe's but they will need more offense to take out Mandy. BRHS is at the top of thier game but from what I hear so is MC. It's up to the "soccer gods" now.

BRHS may be the home team, but the game will be played at Woodlawn High School.

Wonder why? BRHS was unbeaten at home this season but as much as I hate to say this...... they also are unbeaten at Woodlawn's new field over the last two years. Good luck to BRHS.... save the loss on Woodlawn's field for a Woodlawn inflicted one....thanks.

Lafayette played Mt. Carmel in semis of the Holiday Classic in December - Mt. Carmel won convincingly - believe the score was 2 - 0. MT. Carmel brought their A game - LHS was burnt out and depleted. Mt. Carmel is a very strong team and capable of winning it all.
