Overall, a good game to watch. Not sure about Caddo, but after seeing BRHS play in district, they did not play to their capability. BRHS came out strong in the 1st half with Kate Cronin scoring 2 goals. Caddo scored 1 a few minutes later. Kate then scored a 3rd goal to bring the Bulldogs 3-1 at half. Caddo dominated the 2nd half and scored with a lobbed free kick over BRHS's defense with (#10 Julia Vaughn?) finishing it. BRHS immediately responded with a goal by Keli Gambrell, bringing the score 4-2. Caddo kept pressuring BRHS's defense and scored one more with about 10 minutes left in the game. Final score, 4-3 BRHS. Caddo played a great game and never gave up.

From what I can see on this thread, no one disagrees that BRHS had a fabulous district season. However, the fact that they have (correct me if i'm wrong) had more goal scored on them in 2 playoff games than in the whole district season gives substantial evidence to stating they are past their peak.

i doubt they are past their peak. they were playing in horrible conditions, the field was a pit of mud. they are known to do unexpected things so i wouldn't start predicting anything yet.

Nobody is playing for stats anymore. Win by 1 or win by 8, doesn't matter. Just win and advance. Well done to the Magnet gals who obviously gave it everything they had and did not quit.

It was a great game to watch.... up until Magnet got close to making a come back. (BRHS fan here). The girls did not play to their full potential in this game, and there are a couple of players that I think have played much better games in the past. Get ready to see the Bulldogs come out in full force Monday. Sarah Benson will step it up this Monday and lead the dogs to victory. 3-2.
