How do you see next year looking for the top Shreveport/Bossier teams. You were right on with last years analysis.

Should be an interesting year in the area. Several teams lose a lot of talent. Byrd and Loyola especially, Magnet and Shreve to a lesser degree.
Division I District 1
6 and 7. Huntington and Southwood - Will finish 6th and 7th and only beat each other.
5. Natchitoches Central - not sure of how many seniors play on their team. If most of the girls are coming back they could move up. If most of their better players are seniors, 5th place is about right.
4. Airline - I know they had some good seniors but had a lot of young kids as well. They should improve enough to make the playoffs next year, maybe even get the 3 spot.
3. Captain Shreve- Shreve loses several girls who really held them together this year. We lose our keeper, sweeper, stopper, center mid and a marking back. Amy Norgard in the middle and Rebecca Wisby at stopper will really be missed. Hopefully our JV keeper can step up and improve like Jenny has the last two years. Kendall Thomas and Emily Brummer really played well this year in the back, but we should have a couple of younger girls to step in and fill those rolls next year. Elizabeth Lynn will really have to step up and lead the team next year. She most likely will move to center mid and will have to work hard to move the ball around and get her shots. Our 3 freshman starters this year will also really have to become major players next year. Abbie Cowley will be the main player up top. Katie Norgard may move back into defense and sweeper or stopper. Grace Hiller will also be needed as a midfielder or forward. I have no idea what kind of freshman are coming in next year but we will need a couple to help us out. Shreve could end up anywhere from 3-5 next year. Could be a rough year for the Lady Gators.
2. Byrd - They lost a great group of seniors this year and will most likely be down some next year. Kate Querbes and Jana Post will lead the team next year. They will have a great group of sophomores next year that will be expected to have even better years than they did next year. Their JV team wasnt that great and I know they did not sub much on their varsity so I don't know what kind of help they have coming in for their departing seniors. They should still be good enough to take second in the district and maybe even give Magnet a run for first.
1. Caddo Magnet - Magnet has more coming back than anyone else up here and should win the district next year. Byrd is the only one I see who can give them a game. They lose 4 or 5 seniors but have a bunch of talented young gals to replace them. JV team was not as strong this year as in the past. Not sure what help is there for the Lady Mustangs.
Don't see any of our teams going very far in the playoffs again next year. I'm not sure any of them will be better than they were this year and none of them did much this year.
Division II
Loyola - Devastated by graduation. They need to clone Lauren Cheaney and put her everywhere. They lose all of their scorers, all of their midfielders, their goalie. To be honest they will be hardpressed to get to 15 players next year. Parkway can take them next year.
Parkway - should have the talent to take Loyola next year. They also lose some good seniors but have a strong JV program that will fill the holes.
Neville - dont know much about them but they may have the best team in N. Louisiana next year. Should win their district next year.
Thats my take. May not be much fun for me on the girls side next year.

Shrevedad
I beleive number 10 and 12 will be back as NCHS only lost 3 seniors no of which will get 1 team district considereration. At least thats what i know so far. Hopefully they'll do better than fifth with the first year coach coming back an dno real losses.
i was hoping they could contend for second through fourth

I thought those 2 were NC's best players this year. If they are coming back that should really help NC. I still think they will have a hard time breaking into the top 2 but 3rd place is a distinct possibilty.

Just to add to your comments,
Neville should probably be one of the best teams in North La, with Caddo Magnet. From what I know they only had 3 seniors and most of the team was Freshman and sophmores with a few juniors here and there, but mostly Frosh and Sophmores. They return atleast 9 players i believe, as I was told not all the seniors started , not sure on that though.
