Byrd has two starters limping right now. Hopefully, they can heal up before WMHS.

Byrd and West Monroe have played twice this year. Both games ended 0-0. Should be a good game.

wlfrocksccrstar, I think you have E.D. White beat a little bit too quickly against St Thomas d'A. E.D.White was rank 6 for a reason in the last january poll. Not to underestimate STA but I believe it is going to be real tough and interesting game.

Have to stay loyal to the District and pick ST Amant in an upset. Then go with Baton Rouge and St Joes to cruise through to the nxt round where St Joes and St Amant hook up for a rubber match.

St. Joe's game is set for 5:00 at Burbank #4 on Tuesday (Valentine's Day). There is a possibility that it may be held at LSU but nothing definite. Will post later if it changes.

I think that WMHS will come out and beat Byrd by 2 goals. WMHS is due to make it past the second round. Past games 0-0 this year. This game will be a good games to watch.

Predictions for Parkway v.s Sam Houston. SHHS will lose by one goal to parkway like they did in 2002. Hopefully the 2005-06 Lady Broncos will prove me wrong. GOOD LUCK!!

Look like some people on this board have greatly underestimated E.D.White or they just didn't know what they were talking about. They just beat St Thomas Aquinas 4 to 1. STA did put up a fight especially #26 and #4 but their defense couldn't keep up with E.D.White Offense. For those who always downplay the coaches polls saying it is just a bunch of coaches voting for a reputation more than a team real value this should be a lesson. Yes, coaches vote for good teams with good reputation because those team earned it. Year after year it is the same teams that are consistently doing good in the play off. E.D.White. is one of them even though they never went further than the quarter finals. Not all soccer programs can say the same. If STA had beaten EDW it would have been an upset but the other way around is not true because of the ranking. When making a prediction one should look at the polls and what the team did the year before. STA is a good team who deserved to be in the regionals but the odds were stacked against them to move on to the quarter finals. Now E.D.White is the underdog now because they will play Newman. That's how you look at the Coaches poll.
