SH 3-1 over Newman The COACH,,, A good coach always adjusts as the match progresses. He/She finds the other teams deficiencies and will capitalize. SH has a great coach, I have no affiliation with SH at all, just know their reputation.

first and foremost let me clarify myself.. i am former, washed up premier and h.s player turned referee.. i have traveled both as player and ref and seen many tournaments and players ( even odp camp).. i was assigned to work the sh vs. pjp game this past monday.. sacred heart had one of the most impressive g.h.s teams i have witnessed in my years of h.s. soccer.. the could beat almost all of the girls h.s. teams i have seen play this year, including many d I teams.. 4, 21, and 2 were very skilled players.. coach rotated 4 around the entire game.. she appeared to be the milk that made the team go snap, crackle, and pop.. the coach had his players ready to play and made excellent decisions w/ his players as the game progressed.. an uncommon occurrence, especially in the dIII girls level.. i have never seen newman play.. but after seeing SH play i knew this team was special and would be the team to go through to win state.. i'd be happier than a fat kid on cake if the final games were played here in b.r. (lsu would've been perfect!).. they would have had one extra person in the bleachers.. i've got to think at this point only SH can beat themselves by being their own worst enemy
just for the sake of disagreement i say SH 3 newman 2

I for one am glad the finals are being held in Lafayette. Sorry both teams have to travel. However, it allows us folks north of the I-10 to get to see some great soccer. It was tough when the finals were always in New Orleans. See ya in Lafayette.
