Other then the St. Martins/Country Day tournament, what other tournaments are going on? I've heard of a hahnville tournament, is that this weekend? Does any one know the brackets and whose participating?

Also one in Shreveport - the Capt Shreve Tournament. www.nwlsra.com/cshreveg.htmNot near the type of competition as the one in New Orleans but sill still be a cold weekend on the field! Hated we had to cancel the St Louis last week when too many players left town for the holidays and the cheerleaders going to the Neville football game - it was no fun - still wish we could have made it! Thanks! TigerDad

Alexandria Senior High (too many ASH) played there a few years ago at St. Louis. It is a great venue, unfortunately Rebel Cup here in Cenla same Friday/Saturday after Thanksgiving. Wish St. Louis would go back to another weekend. Now coach is taking us to Gator this weekend in Shreveport. Anyone going up there dress warm.

Three teams pulled out of the Hahnville tournament. They are Destrehan (which is a real shocker), Northside, and West Feliciana. All of these teams pulled out two or three days before the tournament. Thanks for the donation:)

4 games on Saturday for Neville and Magnet, a very long and cold day. Magnet has Byrd on Monday so there is no rest for the weary.

Mt Carmel 2 Ursuline 0 1- 0 until the dying minutes of the game.
Woodlawn 0 So LaFourche 0 After a fairly even 1st half, So LaFourche player ran into outstretch Woodlawn Keeper knocking her out (literally for several seconds) drawing a red card from the Referee. The Tarpons spent the last 25 minutes (30 min halves) holding off an onslaught from Woodlawn.
Woodlawn 1 Christian Life 1 Woodlawn scored midway through the 1st half, CLA midway through the 2nd then held on through some incredible luck - hit the GK after she falls down in the soles of her shoes, ping off the cross bar w/empty net, another sails just wide one again with no one home.
MeGehee 2 Woodlawn 0 WHS GK must have still been feeling effect from Saturday since the substituted her out after first shot by MeGehee, Back up did admirable job including stopping a breakaway, before allowing a couple in. In spite of out shooting MeGehee 6-0 in the second half, Woodlawn failed to produce a goal.
