Terrebonne 10 Morgan City 1
I only caught 1/2 of this one. 6-1 at the end of the first half. Terrebonne gave up the 1 goal on a PK. Terrebonne left fullback ran over Morgan City forward in the area to give up the PK. Was very dissapointed in Morgan City coach for keeping his girls back. MC lined up with 5 fullbacks and 3 sweepers to start the game and they never moved up. I do give Terrebonne credit for staying patient and moving the ball around for their scores. Coach cleared the bench at the 20 minute mark in the first half. This could have been a much better game if Trevor had let his girls play instead of playing defense all night.

St Thomas did the worst thing they could do, Thery hurt our goalkeeper after having a 3-0 lead. Yes the sameGK who let two goals between her legs to let Ponchy beat us 5-4. Well after feasting for two games on us the third was the charm. Salmen 5-4 over St Thomas. How you like that falcondad? HAH. I just hope the coach reralizes the value of a real keeper.

Sat. 12/8 --
Ben Franklin -- showed up for home game v. Morgan City
Morgan City -- didn't show up (claimed they had "cancelled", but apparently didn't tell the Franklin coach, AD, or referees).

Does it matter? It wasn't a district game. What's the point of Franklin saying they have a 3-0 forfeit "win" over Morgan City?
I suppose there may be some consequences for Morgan City with LHSAA.

A few score from the Bolton Division III Tournament on Saturday:
Ouachita Christian defeated Bolton 5 - 0. Ouachita Christian defeated Teurlings Catholic 1 - 0
The tournament final was between Menard and Ouachita Christian. It was a great soccer game. Menard scored in the first half to lead 1 - 0 at halftime. Ouachita Christian scored to tie the game about midway through the second half and regulation time ended with the score knotted at 1 - 1. Menard scored with less than five seconds to go in the second overtime to claim the title.
Congratulations to my friend, Coach Baker. Although I would have liked a different result in the final, I am very proud of how well my girls played in all of their games.
Freshman Forward, Abby Chowns, won the golden boot for the tournament.
