Mandeville 3, Fontainebleau 1
FHS scores first off a free kick from outside the 18. MHS ties the score off a cornerkick to make it 1-1 at halftime.
Early in 2nd half, MHS heads in a cornerkick to go up 2-1. With about 18 minutes left, MHS puts up a cross that is knocked to the crossbar and bounces in front of the goal. MHS heads it in to make it 3-1.
Well played both sides.

Tie breaker rules should be in the district by-laws. Most districts have a one game play-off to determine the the champion only. Wildcards are normally determined by a series of records all the way down to goals scored and allowed. Wouldn't that be something, split the series and have to play a third game to determine the district champion? What a 3 game series that would be.

Man, I surely would have predicted the opposite for the outcome of this one. I definitely have not given enough credit to Mandeville, but now I will. Still think FHS is impressive, now I'll just add Mandeville to that impressive list as well. I look forward to the next meeting between these two. They definitely show the power of their district. Congrats to both.
