Academy of the Sacred Heart N.O. 2, McGehee 1. Pretty exciting game in spurts. It could have gone either way. Sacred Heart are looking pretty average, seeing that they have so many key players out injured. Moser is still doing a good job keeping everything somewhat organized, while anchoring the team with Lauren Armatis!

"could have gone either way" ? Coach Winston , you have to go a little farther to hide your bias. McGehee, while being a better team than in years past, had 2 shots on goal the whole game and eventually scored off a corner that swung directly in. Sacred Heart dominated possession, was in McGehee's half and had several good chances. So we know you were there watching it but take off the rose colored glasses and tell your big McGehee friend to stop making his players cry.

I enjoy a good game, unlike most H.S. soccer fans,..... and what I saw, was a lot of half chances going awry in the last third for McGehee. The same for Sacred Heart....Being an educated soccer fan such as yourself, you would know that "time of possession" does not mean that a team will win a match. The gist of my post, was to commend both teams on their play especially ASH because of their recent demise due to injuries! If you look at my other thread, you will see that I am referring to my "Friend"!

Comeaux 2 Lafayette 0 Comeaux came out very aggressive and took the game to LHS. They won almost all the balls. The first score was a off of a great cross from deep right to the 5 yard mark where it was finished. the second score was on a free kick from about the 25 that went just under the cross bar. It was a great kick. The Lions seemed lost and never showed any offense. Congratulations to the Comeaux Spartans!
