What are the factors for determining who gets the wild card?

According to LHSAA, wildcards are determined by three tiebreakers: 1. Winning percentage in District games Then if two teams are tied 2. Winning percntage in all Division games then 3. Winning percentage in all games.
So in Division III, if a team has won no district games and maybe won a game against a Division III team or any other team, they would have a shot at making the playoffs.

Don't forget that the wildcards are picked based on district records. McGehee has no wins in district. Right now they aren't guaranteed a spot, teams with no wins are not guaranteed a spot. So we have to first determine every team that had a win in district. From what I can gather, the following teams have at least one win in district (I'm not sure of district 1, Do Mansfield and North DeSoto each have a win?).
1. Northlake Christian 2. Catholic pointe Coupe 3. Redemptorist 4. Teurlings 5. Pearl River 6. Mansfield and/or North DeSoto 7. West Feliciana (District 6 has 5 teams, Capitol did not have a win) 8. 9. 10. 11. 12.
Bolton, Episcopal of Acadiana, Christian life, Capitol, Independence, Riverside, Ecole Classique, and McGehee don't have district wins. According to what I have been able to gather, there are 36 teams in div III, four teams won't make it. So who has the least wins? I'd say ESA, McGehee, are definitely in. Don't know records of others.

Episcopal of Acadiana does have (1) district win vs Teurlings

My understanding is that both Mansfield and North DeSoto each have a district win, they split with each other during the regular season.

I have added ESA to my wildcard list. McGeHee is the first team on my list that has no district wins. However they do have a winning record

From what I have heard West Feliciana has three, maybe four district wins.

Mansfield and North Desoto played a play off game last Saturday. Unfortunately for Mansfield, the score was 1-0. North Desoto is now the third place. I hope that Mansfield still have a chance for a wild card game...one more, just one more please.

Mansfield has one district win that will put them in the playoffs I think four teams without a district win will get in.

Some points to justify why McGehee should get a wild card even though they don't have a district win. They are in the same district as Sacred Heart and Newman the #1 and #2 ranked teams in Divison III. The loses to SH in both games were 2-1 and to Newman 2-0 and 2-1. They have not lost a Division III game other than those games. They beat St. Martin's and tied Country Day who are both ranked in the top 10. Hopefully every team that deserves a wild card gets in. Good luck to all teams in the playoffs.
