Although I would prefer specific referees, as an association it is difficult to beat the quality out of Baton Rouge. I live in Shreveport, but referee in Baton Rouge quite often.

Not meaning anything politically incorrect by this but Baton Rouge has some of the best female refs in the state.

Baton Rouge crew at Newman vs. Menard...the best crew all season. All you can hope for as a player or coach is consistant game calling. Most inconsistant of the year...Lafayette.

if you think laffy's are inconsistent, try dealing with the ones in lake charles for a year. goalie defends himself/herself -- auto pk. however, let another team throw a PUNCH at a local player and if we are lucky if they both get yellow. try that.... just one example.......

I think our Alexandria Association does a very good job, and have no complaints about them. They seem to be pretty unbiased, and call games consistently.
To the contrary, the refs at the LSU v. Auburn football game really stunk it up, and should be sanctioned.

, try dealing with the ones in lake charles for a year. goalie defends himself/herself -- auto pk. ... I think I know which play you are talking about. Go ask the coach about that play. He said he saw the goalie throw an elbow as the forward came toward him and the ref made the correct call.

Yep! The referee made the right call, I believe that was the Barbe v Kelly Boys! Barbe played very dirty that night. The ref did a great job

BR very solid, and Lafayette for playoffs always good, as have been N.O. in my experience.

I have always said that if you dont like the officiating call up the local assignor and find out when the next training session will be held and then sign up for training and become an official yourself.
