Why and how did Pope John Paul and McGehee get a Saturday play off game? Can someone enlighten the rest of us?

PJP principal deemed their field unplayable on Friday and called McGehee AD. Commissioner was contacted and because of liability reasons Commissioner could not force PJP to have game played on Friday. McGehee's was ready to go. McGehee juniors traveled home early from class trip on Thursday night so that they could go to school Friday and play. Thankfully refs were found for tonight and LHSAA Commissioner approved game. That is what I understand happened. Good luck to all teams in the next round. Let's hope the weather holds up.

Reviving a dead horse here, but can't resist when I know I am correct. The gane was delayed due to field condition they said. I heard it was because of a Mardi Gras ball. I was told that wasn't true. Well lo and behold. What was in the paper this morning. A picture of the coaches daughter as queen of Thoth. When was it held. Friday February 2nd. I rest my case.
