I think you guys are underestimating Ursuline. Neither team are the same squads from last year. I see Ursuline advancing past both Vandebilt and Franklin.

Really? Who has Ursuline beat of quality? I just looked up where they almost lost by double digits to SSA this year. If you think that is the case and Ursuline is semi-finalist calibur then STM and SSA really got shafted by being placed on the same side of the bracket again this year. I'm not saying that they aren't good, but they have a lot of proving to do. Just seems like a bold statement whne they didn't even compete with SSA in an otherwise weak district and received a bye in the first round of the play-offs.

As I look at the scores thread here on the forum, I would ask the same question of both vandebilt and franklin. Who have they beat of quality??? I really don't know! I do feel Ursuline is a good team and that they will prove themselves tonight. If STM and SSA are on the same side of the bracket, oh well. Teams don't make the brackets, they just have to play within them. Also would you mind listing the site where they post the ALMOST scores, i can't seem to find it. One goal or ten, the result is the same, a loss.

Ursuline's goal for the year was to reach the State Semi-finals. Reagardles of whom may be in their playoff bracket! They competed against Dominican, actually scoring first, then making 2 defensive errors to lose 2-0. (Dominican by the way beat Mt. Carmel this evening 1-0) Quality!?! They played a great tactically defensive game vs. Mt. Carmel, only losing 2-0. (While others were being trounced by 3 or more goals) Quality!?! They lost 2-0 to Chapelle (with only 4 starters) Quality!?! They beat McGehee 2-0. Quality!?! Everyone has to prove themselves over the course of the season, but in the playoffs, there is a different atmosphere. Like an earlier post stated..... Who cares what happens during the course of the year....it's where you end up after all is said and done that counts. The UA girls are probably the happiest kids in town tonight and I wish them even more success because they DESERVE it!
