In every playoff bracket, both boys and girls, the district champions are all on the opposite side of the bracket from the second place team in their district, except for Girls Division I. In fact in Division I, Districts 3, 4, 7, and 8 have all their three top teams in their district on one side of the bracket.
For example, Lafayette, Barbe, and Comeaux are all in the bottom half of the playoff bracket. It's almost as if someone intentionally fixed the brackets so that teams from the same district wouldn't advance to the finals.

Look at the historical data of each district (or the colorized bracket thread soccerrouge started about the D1 brackets), where people are pared together. That could not happen because it would involve taking advantage of minors, but make your own conclusions, but nothing like that would ever happen in Louisiana... Shhshhhhhhhhhhh...if you keep that talk going some team will get DQ'd for having an unregistered coach, over fuzzy mascot or non-LHSAA color-scheme. They all have to go through one another anyway to get the State Champ crown. It is just that some district's roads are a little rockier than other districts roads.
