I'll take a stab.......... 1. SH will be jacked up for Neville, home field will help, but seeing Neville as on similar path to Vandy last year. Think Neville wins, but will have to EARN it. 2. BF, Ursuline....most intriquing game of quarters. BF always solid, really back on track after Katrina, but Ursuline really putting some great results together. Ursuline in PKs. 3. DHS and STM. STM only 3-1 over St Mikes was surprising. Deridder will do themselves proud, but do think STM quality shines through. 4. SSA........likely all the way.
Good luck to all teams, prove me wrong, or right:) Great 1/4 final matchups.

I'm only predicting at this point that Neville shall win the top bracket and then lose to the winner of the bottom bracket.
I wish the playoff brackets had power ratings in them, because in my opinion the bottom bracket this year had the stronger teams.

Having watched Salmen defeat Tara the other night, not sure they have enough firepower to stay with St Scholistica. But think 7 is a bit much, maybe 3 - 0

Going to stick with Ursuline over Ben Franklin. The SSA games are the only ones that they have thoroughly beaten in.

SHHS 2 Neville1 Sam Houston at home . I think their home field advantage & their all out hustle will prevail. Ursuline 2 B.F. 0 Ursuline is surprise team this year. S.T.M. 3 Deridder 0 STM to beat Ursuline in final SSA 5 Salmen 0 SSA best team in state but predicting mild upset from STM in semi maybe 2-1

Neville 3 SHHS 0
Ben Franklin 3 Ursuline 1
Deridder 0 STM 4
St. Scholastica 4 Salmen 0
BTW: Having seen both Neville and SHHS play. No way SHHS can beat Nevilles multi-layered offense and super fast and strong defense.

I find it interesting that those who put actual scores are predicting shut-outs in all games except the Ben Franklin - Ursuline game.
Sure would be interesting if DeRidder and Sam Houston pulled-off upsets -- especially DeRidder playing at STM.

Neither Sam Houston nor DeRidder will be shut out, especially DeRidder. Plus, one or two goals will be enough to win. Watch!

DeRidder's defense is gonna have to step up big time, if DeRidder can keep the ball on STM's side they can pull it off.

Neville over Sam Houston - shutout STM over DeRidder - shutout SSA over Salmen - shutout (high score for SSA)
Ben Franklin/Ursuline is a tough one to call...I'd have to go with Ben Franklin in a close one.

Neville 1 SHHS 0. Best game we have ever played. We asked a lot of our defense tonight and they gave everything they had and more. We shut down Neville's two fwd's for 79.5 minutes. One laps in defense and they capitalized in the last minute of the first half. Good luck to neville in the Semis
