First is just wondering why Div I and Div III have a soccer weekend in Shreveport and why Div II is not participating? Would be a great venue for college coaches to come see many top players in our state.
Second - looking at the brackets and trying to determine one thing - in deciding a home field advantage the last tie-break is whether this is an even or odd year? Is this an even year since the season started in 06 or an odd year since the playoffs are being held in 07?

First...the principals and A.D.s voted not to be a part of the Div. I and 3 championships for whatever reason a few years back for. I'm not sure why. Second. it is an odd year

Thanks for the insight! I understand something probably happened with us not participating and thought someone might have been around when that happened. Second - if all of the soccer gods and moons line up and we are blessed to get past Ben Franklin and St Scholastica wins then we could host the game since it is an odd year. Would need all the help we could get to play with them!

This is considered an odd year since the playoffs are being held in 2007.

I feel LHSAA should make it so that D II also plays with D I and D III at the same facility. Why are they not joining the group. Iknow the AD and Prin. decided it, but WHY?

strange one, but like the fact someone can host one year. Lots of fun when EA boys hosted last year, plus SHreveport!!!!!!! Long trip and less crowd.

I thought Div I and III had different sponsors than Div. II.
