How is all district decided? as well as all state Every district is a little different and have their own "rules for selection". Here is how one is done. The coaches meet and are all given slips of paper. They start off with the GK, then 2nd time GK. Defense, 2nd team Defense, and so on. During this time, each coach has the opportunity to nominate as many players as the position is held on the first team. After all nominations have taken place, and after the coach has talked about each of his nominations, the coaches vote. Each coach CANNOT vote for his own nominations (own team). So if your coach doesn't nominate, there are no people on the team. In the event of a tie, they revote. They do this for both 1st and 2nd team. Then each coach put two of his players he feel deserving on Honorable Mention. The players cannot have received 4 yellow cards, or 2 reds. A double Yellow = a red counts as 1 yellow, 1 red. If I am not mistaken, the all state is done by ballot of the coahes in the LHSCAA. Those coaches are also the ones who nominate players.
