Historically, the coaches get together shortly after the last game, before the playoffs start, and pick the All-District Team. They then refuse to tell anyone until after the last D2D2 team is booted out of the playoffs...which is now...so spill, those of you who are in the know. It'll be a month or two before the Town Talk does it's all-district basketball/soccer issue.

Nore that the Boy's team has been released on this site, so maybesomebody'll buck up and release the girls'.

Competition was tough. There were 8 forwards, 14 Midfielders and 16 Defenders nominated, along with 3 keepers (Tioga's Brittany Aswad, So., was the other keeper). At one time voting had to take place 4 times to choose between 2 players for the last slot for Midfielder on 2nd team.

Congratulations to all the players chosen and good luck to all the returning players for next year.

Even if we hadn't won district, he still deserved it for pulling our girls together and taking them as far as we have gone in the playoffs yet. can't wait to see what next year holds for them.
